The BTA wanted to promote cyclists to slow down and relax on their commute due to an incident between a cyclist and pedestrian.
There was a Halley the Harper playing on the corner of Madsion and 2nd Ave as bicycle, cars, and pedestrian traffic cruised by. Sign holders along the bridge asking people to slow down be more aware. There was even a yoga instructor leading sessions along the way to anyone willing to stop for a few minutes.
See the BTA’s blog for the full story.
Halley the Harper is available for hire via her website. She lives car-free and pulls her harp from gig-to-gig with a custom made trailer and her Panasonic road bike.
