I still can’t believe this happened:
I just had my very first art opening/show.
Becky from Bikeasaurus is so awesome!
The days leading up to the show were stressful and sleepless as I tried to get some new pieces of work ready to display. I unveiled 4 new pieces in black & white along with 12 framed watercolor pieces that I completed for “Bike Parade The Coloring Book”.
The gallery was the entrance-way to the Bikeasaurus store which was a little snug for the huge number of people that showed up. I was expecting maybe 20 or so during the 3 hours I would standing around, but at least 50 or so showed up and really crowded the store!
My photo doesn’t adequately portray the crowd:

I’ve been so fortunate to have so much support from my friends, family, and fans that this would not have been possible. I left the store at 11pm, and hour later than planned, completely exhausted and so emotionally overwhelmed.
I’d like to shout out thanks to Becky and Paul from Bikeasaurus for providing me this amazing opportunity, and supplying snacks and whine for the show.
So many thanks to Audrey, for being so AWESOME in the weeks leading up to the show and giving me understanding for putting late nights and giving me a kick in the pants when I needed it.
Thanks Steph Routh for writing such an amazing press release that I would have never had the guts to write about myself.
To Ed Groth for picking up my order of buttons and frames for my works thus saving me so much time so I can focus on my drawings.
Thanks to ALL that showed up to show your love. I’ll strive to continue to create works that you can all appreciate.
Love, Luck, and Lollipops
